What’s New: Starbucks Reserve

What’s New: Starbucks Reserve

With only six in the world, last Friday, Chicago became home to a new Starbucks Reserve. With over 35,000 sq. ft. and four floors, the reserve offers a more variety of options than your regular Starbucks on the corner. You can try blends from Vietnam to all the way in Brazil. Located on 646 N Michigan Ave it’s just a 10 minute walk from our locations at State & Chestnut and Moment. If you’re staying with us at Grand Plaza it is just a 7 minute walk.

The Roastery Design is state of the art! Let’s take you through the floors. The-1st floor for this building consist of the Coffee Bar, Scooping bar, Cask, Roaster, and even mural artwork. You will want to spend an hour or two just roaming around here. There are so many things offered.

The 2nd Floor has Princi Bakery. Starbucks partnered with Rocco Princi to bring his beloved Milanese bakery to the United States. Princi offers an abundance of artisanal pizzas, pastries and bread. They even offer Lunch items and handcrafted desserts. Be sure to pair your coffee with their chilled tiramisu.

The 3rd Floor is where your coffee dreams will run wild. This is where you order coffee flights, exploratory brew methods, nitrogen-infused gelato, and espresso classics. We recommend going with the Barrel-Aged Cold Brew Flight. Three colds brews with three different flavors.

The 4th floor is home to the Arriviamo Cocktail Bar, featuring innovative coffee and tea-forward cocktails, including exclusive cocktails designed by local Chicago mixologists. You’ll also find the Barrel-Aged Coffee Bar, offering spirit-free barrel-aged coffee creations.

The 5th Floor. I thought they’re only four? We’ll unfortunately have to wait till spring. The seasonal rooftop terrace will offer views of the Chicago Skyline and al fresco dining. It is also available for private events.
