Celebrate the holiday with the 2015 Thanksgiving Day Parade! Free and open to the public, the parade includes floats, giant inflatables, marching bands and special guests such as The Harlem Globtrotters. The parade’s route runs down State Street from Congress to Randolph and is easily acessable from many Corporate Suite Network locations:  a 5 minute walk to Randolph & State from 73 East Lake, a 13 minute walk from 400 N. LaSalle, an 11 minute walk from Grand Plaza and 12 minute walk from Columbus Plaza!

Balance the holiday with a little exercise before the feast! Participate in the 38th Annual Turkey Day Run, Chicago’s longest running Thanksgiving race. Sign up for an 8k or 5k, and get the kids involved in the Plymouth Rock Ramble run. The race includes a Turkey Tailgate Zone complete with football, cornhole tosses, turkey bowling, and costume contests. The starting gate is only a 5 minute walk from The Belden Stratford!

Don’t worry about preparing a Thanksgiving dinner, leave the cooking to The Tortoise Club! The restaurant will be hosting a Thanksgiving buffet with a turkey carving station, iced seafood tower, dessert bar as well as traditional favorites. Leave as stuffed as a turkey, only a 7 minute walk from the Grand Plaza or 400 N. LaSalle!

Another great place for a Thanksgiving meal without the hassle is Mike Ditka’s Restaurant, owned by the former Chicago Bears tight end and coach himself.  Ditka’s Thanksgiving menu features an unlimited turkey feast, including soup, salad and traditional Thanksgiving works from fresh turkey to pumpkin pie. Other dishes include filet mignon, lobster and pork chops. Only a 3 minute walk from State & Chestnut.
