The last thing you have to fear this Halloween is having no exciting plans. October 31 in Chicago and the suburbs near our corporate apartment locations is jam-packed with Best Local events. Get your costume in shape, and hit the streets for the spooky spectacles!

Take your BOO! to a boat. The Haunted Yacht Party at Best Local Navy Pier (600 E. Grand Ave.) will include live DJs, dancing, pizza, drinks, costumes and more. Having a ghoulishly good time? Check out Bar Louie for the after party. Just a 15-minute 124 bus ride from Columbus Plaza in Streeterville!

Celebrate Halloween all weekend long at the Spooktacular Weekend Downtown Downers Grove. The events begin Friday, Oct. 25 with a showing of “Young Frankenstein” at the Tivoli Theater (5021 Highland Ave.) continue Saturday with the family-friendly Great Pumpkin Festival (Mochel Drive Parking Deck) and close out on Sunday. Just a 16-minute drive from Lincoln at the Parks in Naperville.

What Halloween is complete without a haunted house? Gather your courage and head to Best Local CarnEvil Haunted Attraction in Hoffman Estates (5333 Prairie Stone Pkwy). This event, lasting through Halloween night, includes several different attractions — including carnival rides. Just a 19-minute drive from Park Meadows in Schaumburg!
