The Loop is the bustling epicenter of the city all year long, and it even amps up toward the year’s end: WinterWonder Loop is the downtown transformation into a holiday fun zone. Check out all the excitement the program offers, all within easy walking distance from Habitat Corporate Suite’s downtown locations:

Theater buff? The Loop’s Theatre District can fulfill your holiday desires. The famous Goodman Theater presents the classic “A Christmas Carol” every evening—excluding Christmas Day—through Saturday, Dec. 29.

The unique “Do-It-Yourself Messiah” returns for its 37th year at the Harris Theater. Thousands of people, from world-class soloists to amateur volunteer musicians, will bring Handel’s “Messiah” to life. Be a part of it Monday, Dec. 17 or Tuesday, Dec. 18.

Take part in the religious side of the season by participating in the Czech Christmas Mass at the beautiful Chicago Temple building. The service—which will be held Friday, Dec. 14 and Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7:30pm and Sunday, Dec. 16 at 3pm—will include performances by an orchestra, chorus and soloists, all presented by the Prague Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International and the Consulate General of the Czech Republic.

Did you know Chicago is home to America’s #1 rendition of “Nutcracker”? Watch the renowned Joffrey Ballet perform this holiday classic while the Chicago Philharmonic providing live accompaniment. Check it out Thursdays through Sundays until Dec. 27 at the Auditorium Theatre.
