Stop by the Chicago Cultural Mile for the 1st Halloween Gathering! Institutions like The Field Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Colombia College Chicago will gather for an all-day festival and nighttime party to celebrate Halloween as an “artists” holiday. The festival will include performances, mask-making workshops, interactive activities and many more. Only a 7 minute L ride on the green line from the 73 East Lake location.
Get in the Halloween spirit with the 7th Annual Halloween Spooktacular on Clark St. in Lincoln Park! On Saturday, Oct. 24, businesses from Armitage to Diversey and Orchard to Lakeview will be opening their doors to trick or treaters. Along with trick or treaters, jugglers, magicians and stilt walkers will be walking the route. Also, don’t miss the costume contest on 2558 N. Clark Street! Enjoy a beautiful display of fall foliage at the Chicago Botanic Gardens Hallowfest! The event includes a spooky forest, fortunetelling, face painting, and a train ride.
