Livin’ La Vida Local: Movember

Embrace The Month of The Mustache

The premise of Movember is for men to grow out their facial hair—particularly mustaches. But the reason isn’t strictly for the hairy fashion statement. According to the official Movember website, “men raise vital awareness and funds for men’s health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives” during this month-long event.

Register now to pledge to take part in fundraising for the global initial and show face at some events around Chicago promoting this month of men’s health awareness. Check it out on Facebook too. Now take your ‘stache to the streets.
