Favorite Spots Around EnV Chicago

In this  blog edition, we wanted to highlight some our favorite establishments near our apartments at EnV Chicago.  EnV is in the heart of the River North neighborhood where public transportation is easily accessible, and you can take it anywhere in the city.  We’ve highlighted three locations that are all within walking distance of the apartments and offer a peek into the neighborhood.

First up we will be looking at Ramen-San. This restaurant is a Ramen noodle joint that goes beyond the typical cuisine by also serving chicken wings and dumplings. Their menu just doesn’t stop there with the food choices though, they also serve traditional Japanese Sake, cold beer, cocktails, and whiskey. This place truly can turn a good night out into a great night out with its food and 90’s Hip-Hop vibe.

Up next is Howl at the Moon. While this bar is closer to Michigan Ave, it is well worth the walk if live music, great food, and a party are on the agenda after a long day. Howl at the Moon acts as a live music venue with each day catering to a different crowd and different music tastes. Speaking of tastes, their drink menu offers novelty alcoholic bucket drinks, delicious cocktails with beer and shots to support. Howl is the perfect place to have a party in the heart of downtown.

Lastly, we have Bavette’s Steakhouse and Bar. Bavette’s is an upscale, intimate low-light steakhouse and bar with some French flair. It’s in close proximity to the EnV apartments. Outside of incredible steaks, they also serve just about everything from honey glazed salmon and prime beef French dip to fresh oysters and crab cakes. Their drink and dessert menu is impeccable, and this is really a place that needs to be experienced in person and is worth the price point.
