January 23rd is National Pie Day! From classic apple pie to signature specialties, Chicago is home to various restaurants serving the traditional dessert. Grab a slice from any of these Chicago locations.

Start with dinner before dessert at Pie-eyed Pizzeria. Whether its a dinner date, ordering takout or grabbing a late night bite, Pie-eyed’s flexible hours and fresh ingredients are a Chicago pizza pleaser. A Chicago favorite and the mother of all pie shops, stop by Hoosier Mama Pie Company. Selling slices and whole pies, Hoosier Mama makes their pies by hand with ingredients from local farms. Flavors include specialties such as passionfruit meringue, grapenut custard, and earl grey custard, while also including favorites like apple and chocolate cream. Find them at a local market near you, or the Pie Shop is only a 7 minute drive from Catalyst Apartments, or a 10 minute drive from 400 N. LaSalle.
