Attend the Memorial Day Parade! Starting in 1870, the parade honors those that sacrificed their lives for their country. The event begins with a wreath-layering ceremony at Daley Plaza and moves down State Street from Lake to Van Buren. 73 East Lake is only a 3 minute walk from the parade’s starting point!

Enjoy some live music at the Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival! The 32nd annual festival runs Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and features live music, food, and arts & crafts. The event is free to the public, only an 11 minute ride on the 22 bus from The Belden Stratford!

Lace up those sneakers and sign up for the Soldier Field 10 Mile Race. The 10 mile course runs along Lake Shore Drive and finishes at the 50-yard line on Soldier Field with a post-race party. The race also supports SALUTE, INC, an organization dedicated to offering financial assistance to post 9/11 veterans. Only a 15 minute walk from Vue20 location!

Spend Memorial Day weekend at the 29th annual Prairie Arts Festival! The two-day outdoor festival is features over 120 artists, three stages of entertainment, a food truck court and plenty of children’s activities. Only a 4 minute drive from Park Meadows.
