What better way to kick off summer than a trip to the beach! Right off the Lake Michigan shoreline, Chicago is home to beautiful, sandy beaches with clear lake water. Soak up the sun at Oak Street Beach with views of the city skyline. The beach is perfect for playing rounds of beach volleyball, taking a swim, or simply sun tanning. Only an 11 minute walk from The Chicagoan or State & Chestnut!

Enjoy free music in the park with the Millennium Park Summer Music Series! The Jay Pritzker Pavillion hosts a variety of free concerts on Mondays and Thursdays throughout the summer with a music acts of all genres. A 5 minute walk from 73 East Lake or a 7 minute walk from Marquee at Block 37.

Take a tour of the city with the Chicago Architecture Foundation River Cruise! Learn Chicago’s history, from its humble beginnings to the current bustling metropolis. In the 90 minute tour learn about Chicago architecture and its history as tour guides highlight over 50 riverside buildings. The pick-up location is only an 11 minute walk from AMLI River North or the Grand Plaza.
