Enjoy beautiful fall foliage at parks around the city, like the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool! Tucked away in its own corner, open the industrial, prairie-style doors off of bustling Fullerton Avenue and be instantly transported to a secret garden oasis. The lily pool features a stone walkway surrounding the pond with native plants, shaded pavilion and council ring. Take a stroll in the fall and enjoy stunning fall colors hidden in the city! Visit the Daley Plaza Farmer’s Market before it’s out of season! The longest running farmers market in Chicago, is open on Thursdays until the last weekend in October and features in-season produce along with special baked goods. Family run since 1948, Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm and Garden Center is the perfect place to spend a family-fun fall weekend! September kicks off the farm’s Fall Festival, which features a petting zoo, pig races, corn maze, and their famous pumpkin eating dinosaur. Choose from a variety of pumpkins and make sure to grab some homemade apple pie, or apple cider donuts, to go! Only a 15 minute drive from Park Meadows or a 16 minute drive from One Arlington!
